It's time for the summer show, and we are pleased to have 50 new paintings by David Grosvenor.
He has painted the coastlines and mountains of North Wales, as well as the abundant flowers from his garden, which is his other great inspiration.
He may return to the same subject many times, but always there is something different: the effects of the light and the seasons are endlessly fascinating, always newly minted. David can make his palette truly expressive: sometimes restrained and contemplative; and at other times bold, cacophonous, full of an ebullient energy.
Always, the work invites us in. There is a generosity of spirit and a reminder to notice and appreciate the glories around us: The familiar beauty, the treasures everywhere.
David lives and works in Criccieth. He is one of the most beloved artists in North Wales.
