Gwyn Roberts

Gwyn Roberts was born in 1953 in the Conwy Valley and spent his childhood in Llanddoged, before moving to Llanrwst.

He studied Fine Art at Norwich School of Art, followed by a postgraduate course at Cardiff School of Art.

Although Gwyn lives in Cardiff, his main inspiration is the ever changing light on the cliffs and crags of his beloved Eryri (Snowdonia) and the dramatic West Wales coastline.

His work can be found in many private collections in America, Australia, China, Japan and many European countries.  His paintings have also been bought by the Welsh Arts Council and Cardiff University.

Over the last twelve years, Gwyn has had over twenty successful 'One Man Shows'  in galleries in both Wales and England.  He has appeared on both television and radio, and there have been articles about him in a number of magazines and newspapers.

Gwyn Roberts had his first exhibition with us in March 2020.
